The X1 Carbon is the ThinkPad line cut down to just over a kilo without giving up the keyboard or the screen. It is for sales people, consultants and management — those who have the machine in a bag every week. In return it is less flexible than the T series, and that belongs in the decision.
We do not hold it in stock. We source it per order — tell us the quantity and what the machines are for, and we come back with price and lead time.

Worth knowing
- The memory is soldered and cannot be expanded later. Choose 16 GB from the start if the machine has to last a few years.
- There is no Ethernet port on the machine. Wired networking needs the supplied adapter or a dock — remember to order them too.
